Defining the future of how the world does business means no day is the same and hands-on learning is constant. You’ll be your own Chief Learning Officer, building a broad skillset from a global network of colleagues with deep expertise, using always-available resources, and working to solve challenges. Every colleague at FIS has access to Grow Your Own Career, which serves as a one-stop resource for all career development resources. Included in this online portal is WeLearn, our Global Learning library with more than 250 learning resources and over 3,000 offerings in 17 languages. These offerings include virtual instructor-led courses, videos, articles and other e-learning opportunities such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from leading institutions.
Building a Talent Pipeline
FIS recognizes the importance of developing qualified workforce to build the future of FinTech, therefore we support educational and internship programs to create a talent pipeline. We are a founding partner of the Georgia FinTech Academy, the Northeast Florida Fintech Initiative, and similar programs in Ohio to help increase the number of students pursuing college degrees related to FinTech. Fostering Employee Engagement and Innovation
At FIS, we gather feedback from colleagues in a variety of ways including both online tools and in-person settings such as people surveys, quarterly town halls, and Inclusion Networks. We use this feedback to refine our employee engagement programs to improve experiences and ensure our culture comes to life across our global workspaces. We nurture innovation at FIS through innovation labs around the world, which serve as entrepreneurial “garages” where our engineers develop cutting-edge new products. Our annual hack-a-thon, InnovateN48, is a worldwide colleague coding competition that sparks creativity and builds collaboration to enhance our products and solutions for clients.
Developing Future Leaders
FIS uses Performance365 to help colleagues set goals, receive continuous feedback and measure performance on a regular basis. We are focused on developing and promoting high-performing colleagues, and offer extensive leadership training. Our Manager Excellence program and Lead.Explore.Aspire.Develop (LEAD) program develop skills for managers and leaders across the company regardless of their function or location.
